Review: A warm and beautiful story with two great actors. This film is based on a true story, and a sad and interesting one it is. The only downside in the film is how they made the character Philomena a bit too much of a innocent, funny character at times. Maybe she was like that in real life, but I feel like they compromised her in favor of some Hollywood charm.

Mig äger ingen

Review: I really liked Åsa Linderborg's novel Mig äger ingen when it came out in 2008. This film is losely based on that novel. It's a heartfelt and tragic film that really touches you. I'm not sure if I prefer it to the novel though, but the acting by especially Mikael Persbrandt and Ping Mon H. Wallén is really great and makes this a very good film indeed.

Review: I have to admit that I wasn't too convinced when I first heard about this film, but at the same time I knew I had to see it. And I'm really glad I did. A sad but warm story with some excellent acting. A strong recommendation!
