Knuckle

Knuckle

Review: SVT (Swedish national TV) showed this documentary yesterday as a part of their great series of documentaries called Dox. I missed it, but sat down to watch it online today and it was definitely worth it. Knuckle is a documentary that over a period of 12 years follow some Irish families who have been in a feud with each other for decades, and the way that they choose to deal with it is to arrange bare knuckle fights between members of the families. It's a very strong documentary showing us the way of some travellers. It's not pretty, it can seem quite insane, but it's well done and the movie shows just that. What pride in ones family name can make you do. Well worth checking out.

Rating: 7/10
