Review: In many ways this is your typical story of the underdog beating the odds. But the way that sets this movie apart from most of them is the acting and the subtleties of the story telling. It's not over the top, but quite slow paced and without all the big gestures. And that's what makes this a really good movie. I just wish I understood baseball.
